Look at this awesome cover for a rad Pathfinder module I get to DM this Summer! I’ve been playing DnD three days a week for the past five-ish months, before that I played rarely, on and off for three years.

I’ve ALWAYS wanted to DM, and now I get to! X3 And I’m making my way through reading this module and ahhh it’s really cool! The story, the characters, the monsters, eee I’m just all giddy over it.

So I don’t know if anyone’s ever brought this up, but like you know how when someones super flexible some people may remark, “They much be fantastic in bed” or at the very least, “rather interesting in bed”

But what about cats? Their flexibility is something that causes people to be filled with awe and wonder. You know what sucks? The fact that there are a bunch of people logged into Skype early in the morning(like now for example: it’s about ~~3:30AM~~ 4AM<-writing this took me half an hour, dear god).

100% of these people I don’t talk to often at all(Like some I haven’t talked to for a year or even three years. Why? Because I’m shit at talking to more than two people on skype at a time, and shit at being active in a group chat. So I end up talking to a smallSMALL group of people when I get on skype and that makes me feel like shit because the people who I have in my contacts are all cool people, a lot of them are people I use to talk to regularly, people I could confide in and yet I no longer talk to them because I’m awful and have to choose who to talk to, so of course I choose the same couple of people I had been talking to most recently(and what has happened is I talk to a few people for months on end, often, and then something happens and I’m not online for awhile or I go through a phase where I just can’t deal with talking to people online and so then when I eventually start skyping again, it’s like the first couple of people who I have longer convos with basically win and then they become the people I talk to).

And then it’s times like right now(which happens often) where some of them may be on late at night, and I’m feeling bored, a bit lonely, and actually feel like talking to someone, but here’s the problem, since I have such issues falling asleep, if I’m on the internet and suddenly feel tired, I will instantly go to bed. If I stay on the internet instead, then I have less of a chance of falling asleep. So here’s what would happen.

I get on Skype, say hi to someone, tell them I miss talking to them, and then out of nowhere I could suddenly feel tired and would have to be like, “Ahh man, I’m suddenly really tired, I need to go to bed.” which could literally happen 5 minutes after starting to talk to someone, more likely 30-50minutes afterwards tho’. And I’m afraid that since I know this would happen often that they’ll just think I got bored talking to them and was making up an excuse to stop talking to them and end our convo.

And don’t even get me started on how I feel about trying to chat again with peeps during the day. The people who I talk to often, know that if I say brb and don’t come back, it could be because I probably had to help someone(my roommate, or when I’m home, my parents), and had to do that and then ended up having to leave the house or my mother is suddenly, “Help me with the computer” and then somehow(don’t ask me how) we’re talking about life and spirituality for two hours. Orrr, I go downstairs(when I’m home) to get a drink or food and turns out dinner’s almost ready and that my parents want me to sit down and watch a movie with them or whatever and so I end up coming back hours later or not at all. But if I haven’t talked to someone in a while they may not realize this and I’m afraid that they’ll think I was just trying to ignore them or something and I could explain the reason I was gone for so long, or never came back but since these kinds of things happen SO OFTEN, they may seriously think I’m just ditching them. And that thought makes me so nervous and tense and afraid that they somehow may be hurt, annoyed or get fed up with me.

I just, I regret and hate so much that I don’t talk to people anymore. People who have listened to me, like during my internship summer when I was alone in a tiny, sweat-box of an apartment and was terribly lonely, miserable and depressed to the point that I one day got up in the middle of the night and left my apartment and went on a four hour walk on the road, barefooted because I literally had snapped.

Or the summer before that THREE YEARS AGO when I was working in Yellowstone and was also horribly depressed, to the point where all I ate for my ONE meal(since I forgot to eat or was too tired to walk to the caf) was crackers and bluecheese crumbs from the salad bar because I could hardly stomach much else and that was only on days I worked where I was much closer to the caf, where I had to lie to people that I was going to get burgers and “treating myself” just so that they would worry less about my eating.

PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE FOR ME. WHO TALKED TO ME. WHO GAVE ME COMFORT.

What do I give them in return? I STOP TALKING TO THEM BECAUSE I’M A SHIT PERSON, WHO’S SHIT AT STAYING IN TOUCH.

AND I DO THIS TO MY FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE TO! PEOPLE I HUNG OUT WITH EVERY GOD DAMN DAY. PEOPLE I CALL MY BEST FRIENDS. NOPE SORRY, I’M JUST SO MUCH OF A SHIT THAT I CAN’T BOTHER TO EVEN SEND A TEXT TO THEM! And I justify it by saying, “Wellll, they don’t try to keep in touch with me, tho’ I’m sure that’s only because they’re still in school or are busy, at least THEY have an excuse, unlike me, ms.shittymcshitbag.

…This just escalated to me feeling like shit because I miss talking to people and have missed talking to people for a long time, and all I ever do is like their posts and sometimes(on rare occasions) post a little reply to their post.

I can’t do much about it now, since I’m moving back to PA next Friday and will be on and off the computer every day for the next week, and being too sapped of energy to talk to people at night since I get little to no sleep since I’m stressed about the move and personal matters relating to my mother and just..UGH..but yeah…maybe when I get back home…maybe for the rest of the summer…I can try…maybe I can learn to talk to multiple people on Skype…maybe I can get better.

I miss people so much that I well up when I see them online and just ignore it because I’m afraid and stressed and can’t get myself to say hello. V_V Not to mention all the people who I added to my contacts and never took the time to chat with, so it’s that whole awkward, “I don’t really know them…we never really talked…I have no idea if we are even capable of having a decent conversation…I wouldn’t even know what to say after saying hi…”

I just miss people…a lot.
